Democrats have given Saddam Hussein a shocking vote of confidence in the latest Fox News Opinion Dynamics survey, with a solid plurality saying the world would be better off if the Butcher of Baghdad was still in power.

The New Year is upon us and the old year has been rather humorous; we have the "Republican War on science" (by journalist Chris Mooney) which has manifested itself as a renewed Christian war on evolution; and the Christian charge that, because some people honor other holidays, there is a "War on Xmas"; Right-wing Republican leaders have been indited; and then there is the interesting stuff.

I was channel surfing and came across Al Franken on one of those book review channels where he was plugging a new book. Of ourse he was talking about Bush, politics and Iraq. Usually i hate the guy as I consider him one of many poster boys for the Dem party. But I agreed with everything he had to say at this book review.

Apparently "Douchecrackerofwales" thinks she's clever by razzing my satirical blog entitled "Christians are Destroying America." We'll see. This bitch bugged me so much that I just had to give a rebuttal. I have copied and pasted her blog, adding my own comments in another font.

The Congress finally appears to be taking border security seriously, moving forward with funding for a wall, and enforcement measures against employers who hire illegal (Not the overtly PC term "undocumented") immigrants. The Mexican government has responded by hiring a Dallas based PR firm to lie about our government is doing.

United States Signals Intelligence Directive (USSID) 18, the NSA's "Bible" for the conducting of surveillance against U.S. persons, allows "U.S. material," i.e., listening to U.S. persons, to be used for training missions. However, USSID 18 also requires that all intercepts conducted for such training missions are to be completely destroyed after completion of the training operation.

So, the White House put out a card that said "Happy Holidays". Gee. Another greivous sin committed by this president. Now the Christians are pissed because he didn't say "Merry Christmas". Did they stop to think that perhaps Mr. Bush perceives(correctly) that he is president of ALL of the people in the U.S. including non-christians and people who didn't vote for him?
